Clarity matters.

I help leaders find it.

I've spent my career inside institutions where the stakes were real, and the margin for error was small — newsrooms, city halls, state agencies, and public school districts. I started in television news, earned an Emmy nomination, and spent the next fifteen years helping organizations navigate the moments that define them.

I'm currently the Chief Communications Officer at Marietta City Schools in metro Atlanta — on the superintendent's cabinet, leading communications, media relations, and brand strategy for one of Georgia's most diverse school districts. Before that: public affairs for the Louisiana Workforce Commission during COVID-era economic disruption, and a California City Manager's Office through four managers, a pandemic, and wildfire evacuations.

That experience is what I bring to the leaders I work with. I help people navigate urgent crises and long-term strategic change — translating complexity into clarity and pressure into purposeful communication.

How I work

I partner with leaders on the decisions, moments, and challenges where clarity and judgment matter most. My role is advisory and collaborative—focused on helping leaders think, decide, and communicate with intention.

Executive Counsel

I work alongside senior leaders and leadership teams as a trusted advisor—helping them navigate complexity, align priorities, and make decisions that carry both strategic and reputational weight.

Public Affairs & Stakeholder Context

I advise at the intersection of leadership, institutions, and the public—where policy, perception, and accountability meet. This includes helping leaders understand stakeholder dynamics and communicate accordingly.

Strategy & Alignment

When strategy is clear internally, communication follows. I help organizations align leadership, direction, and messaging so decisions are understood, supported, and sustained.

Crisis & High-Stakes Moments

In moments of pressure, speed and discretion matter. I support leaders navigating crisis, public scrutiny, and sensitive issues—helping them choose language and direction that protect trust and long-term credibility.

Leadership Presence & Preparation

Whether preparing for a major address, public appearance, or internal moment that matters, I help leaders show up with clarity and confidence—focused on substance, presence, and intent rather than performance.
