A man with a beard and short hair sits on a tan leather sofa in a living room, smiling at the camera. The sofa has colorful patterned pillows. In front of him is a glass coffee table with books, a black candle, and decorative items. Behind him, there is a bookshelf with books and decorative objects, a framed painting, a tall white flower vase, and a floor lamp. The room has modern decor with art on the walls and wooden flooring.

Hi, I’m Chris Fiore.

I’m a communications executive with a career built across newsrooms, city halls, state agencies, and public education — usually showing up to organizations that didn’t have a communications operation yet, and building one.

I’m currently the Chief Communications Officer at Marietta City Schools in metro Atlanta, where I serve on the superintendent’s cabinet and lead all communications, media relations, public affairs, and brand strategy for one of Georgia’s most diverse school districts. During my tenure, MCS has earned national media coverage on Good Morning America, PBS NewsHour, and NBC Nightly News. Our work has been recognized with the GSPRA Peach Award of Excellence — the organization’s highest honor — and a PRSA Georgia Phoenix Award for a $1,500 campaign that earned national attention and research backing from Emory University.

Before MCS, I directed public affairs for the Louisiana Workforce Commission during COVID-era economic disruption and served as a communications leader inside a California City Manager’s Office through four city managers, a pandemic, and wildfire evacuations. I started in television news, where I earned an Emmy nomination for breaking news coverage.

I’m a PRSA-certified practitioner in AI-integrated communications, a UNC Greensboro alum, and the founder of Vosot Communications.

I care deeply about public institutions and the people who depend on them — and I bring that perspective to every engagement.
